Monmouth Boat Club runs a junior sailing program in Red Bank that teaches children to sail under US Sailing Level 1 certified instructors. Classes meet Monday through Friday in one-week sessions: Learn to Sail for ages 8–12 is a half-day class taken as either an AM or PM block, while Learn to Sail Teens for ages 13–16 runs as a full day for teens learning from scratch or taking a refresher. The club has taught junior sailing for over 50 years, and its instructors are also CPR and First Aid certified.
