Beachwood Yacht Club runs an adventure sailing camp on the Toms River for children and young adults aged 8-16 at any level of experience, from 145 Compass Avenue. Programs are offered in blocks of one to eight weeks and are hands-on, with the club saying campers are sailing within days; alongside sailing the camp builds confidence, leadership and water safety and teaches about the surrounding bay environment. The club partners with Save Barnegat Bay on the program.
