I signed up my daughter for drawing classes. Teachers are very nice. Classroom is clean and full of neatly organized supplies. My daughter loves being there and leaves classroom with a big smile and beautiful art work.

Wonderful place to learn art!! Been going over 8 years. Love all the teachers and owner!

They only let your child draw from other drawings. I have been trying to cancel or find out how to cancel for weeks. It is always someone else's problem. I do not reccomend this place. There are many alternatives now in AH find a different place.

I sent my daughter here for a 4 day drawing camp this summer August 2019. Matilda was 8 years old and the drawings she did were so nice to see/keep! She also loved the materials and the "studio" (though it seems very cramped to me) The downside for us was the instructors style of teaching. She was harsh and not really welcoming or kind. When I tried to speak with her and share my concerns on the second day she made a big speech to me about how important it is making sure the children aren't comparing themselves to one another so they need to be isolated to their own work with no talking to one another. I think in a 4 day summer camp my expectation was more about light-hearted fun than something serious like that. We won't go back for this reason so I can't give it 5 stars. I wish it had gone differently because Matilda's work is really great!

My daughter has been a student at Monart since she was in second grade. Not only has Ellen wonderfully educated and inspired my daughter to learn and excel in different forms of media over the many classes, she has been a mentor and encouragement to her in these foundational years. I am in awe when she brings home art pieces, and I know her work is a result of solid and gentle instruction, a calming and peaceful work environment, and the skillful and humble grooming of a natural artistic talent. My daughter's countenance is peaceful and gently confident when she leaves class, a demeanor which is so helpful to develop through the teenage years. I am so thankful for an art studio so close that offers such great instruction from such wonderful teachers.
