Milton Art Center
Private
The Milton Art Center is a nonprofit community art center in East Milton Square, open since 2012, running themed summer art camps from late June through August. Camp weeks center on painting, sculpture, clay, world-building, drawing and mixed media, with separate tracks for ages 5-8 and ages 6-12 and roughly a 1:5 staff-to-camper ratio; projects are open-ended and led by professional teaching artists and trained assistants. A drop-in Friday Art Studio for ages 5-11 lets families register for a single Friday or several weeks, and need-based scholarships are available with priority for Milton and surrounding communities.

Powered by GoogleI recently had the good fortune to be able to participate in the 10 week Senior Art Lab sponsored by the Milton Women’s Club. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn from two incredible artists, Sue and Christine. Experience, expertise, and patience made the 5 weeks in Sue’s clay class and the 5 weeks in Christine’s acrylics class a joy to attend! We all want more and will certainly return in the fall!
Sue and Christine are amazing instructors. I have learned so much! Outstanding program! Many thanks!
The teacher was kind and communicative. She cared that my son had a good experience and worked with him to overcome his social anxiety. The projects were fun and very appropriate for his age group. Overall an excellent experience!
I signed my granddaughter up for art camp and she absolutely loved it! She was in a group of four and five year olds and I was impressed by what they each created. The head teacher was wonderful and there were teens to assist the children whenever needed. My granddaughter would happily go to the MAC’s art camp every day all summer long!
My daughter enjoyed eded the program very much. The teachers were friendly and attentive. The fairy class was super cute and the assignment of creating a fairy world was icing on the cake for my daughter. My only complaint, I wish it was a week long. Definitely recommended.
