Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education (RISD CE)

Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education offers open admission, non-credit art and design courses for teens ages 13 to 17, taught in person on the RISD campus in Providence and online through weekly live Zoom classes. In-person teen courses are three-hour classes with all art supplies provided, in subjects such as drawing, painting, embroidery, jewelry, street photography, comics and game design. A nine-week online work readiness course serves students ages 14 to 18 in grades 10 to 12, and partial need-based scholarships are available for youth courses. RISD CE also runs RISD Art Camp, a week-long summer day camp for ages 6 to 12 held at Tillinghast Place in Barrington.
