Reviewing MYC as a yacht club: Stayed three nights in August via reciprocal yacht club privileges while cruising LIS on our sailboat. Gorgeous setting, well-kept grounds, beautiful clubhouse with views on three sides, easy water access from LIS and easy t-docks for us transients. Restaurant menu is great with good and friendly service, good food (pork chop) and views. Pool is excellent with views of channel and a bit of LIS from the pool. Poolside bathrooms (M&W) good overall on a very busy August kids' day, poolside snack bar was a bonus find with great food, good prices and fun service. Launch service 'uptown' is a wonderful and beautiful perk with our slip fees to reach shopping and other restaurants/bars/shops/ice cream. A special shout-out to Chase (dock and launch) who is stellar - very professional and adept launch operator with outstanding customer service. We will absolutely be back to MYC.

I can only give perspective as a passerby. We walk by often during our 5k route and I love this part of the route for photo ops.

Food took 2 hours to come (for a scheduled seating) and when it did the food was just bad. Beef was alternately undercooked and burnt. The fish was too salty to eat. Just a very bad experience. Picture is the fish in the garbage, where it belonged. Update: the dog got the leftover beef. She was disapointed, too.

A wonderful place to have special events and dinner. Went to a great birthday party and had some GREAT FOOD. You cannot beat the view. Your right on the mouth of the river and harbor. The personnel were very pleasant and on the ball! The structure inside and out is well kept. The club can be proud of their spotless grounds. Also plenty of parking.
