Powered by GoogleThe quality and variety of classes is world class. My child gets to thrive in Ballroom, Musical Theater, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro, Lyrical, and Contemporary - all of them! The instructors are pros in both training and choreography. They often have guest instructors that you will recognize from TV. The culture of positivity, paired with guiding kids to be overall good humans makes this a special place you will want to be a part of.
My daughter has been dancing at Michelle's since she was three years old. That was 11 years ago and she has become the most beautiful dancer thanks to the staff at MLDA. She's able to consistently work with award winning, well known teachers and choreographers within the industry and made lifelong friendships. My daughter describes her studio as her "home away from home". I'm forever grateful to Michelle, Julie, Jessi, and all the faculty for loving and investing into my daughter's future as a dancer. Thank you!
This studio has in house costume alterations and parent costume keeping. Unfortunately they do not execute their own standards very well. Day of competition my daughter had an unaltered costume with SEWING PINS in the arms and pants. A 6in hem for the pants that was held up by 2 sewing pins. ON COMPETITION DAY. They put my daughter in harmful situation that could have led to injury. And made competition day very stressful. The company director told me “she was busy”. I emailed her 3 times the week before the competition about this costume specifically and did not receive a response from the director. She ignored my emails. They did not live up to their own expectations. They do not let parents check their dancers costume's for correct alterations. They will beg parents to help with costume keeping instead of being responsible for your own child’s costumes.
MLDA is an AMAZING studio. As a parent, I can contest that the music is not too loud and they do not endanger children in any way, shape or form. Here is an idea...don't put your violin studio above an established dance studio that obviously plays music. We love MLDA!!!
This is the best dance school ever! Michelle Latimer is wonderful. We drive from Fort Collins three times a week to go to the school. And it is worth every second.
