The Meredith Community Center, run by the town's Parks and Recreation Department, offers a summer day camp for local children alongside year-round youth programs. Campers take part in active and cooperative games, arts and crafts, daily outdoor time, baking, and weekly Thursday field trips, using the center's game rooms and basketball court.

Was there tonight to enjoy being around family, a women named Heather came in and started yelling at my younger uncle telling him to put his shirt on.. okay yes understandable it was the rules, he walked to put on his shirt and she instigated him trying to kick him out threatening saying he was starting problems with his words after boys were being boys and they were all smiling while talking the usual trash talk during a basketball game, after everyone told him not to respond she continued talking her crap. I then pulled her to the side politely and explained he was not saying anything to start trouble and they were smiling while talking their stuff to each-other and she cut me off very rudely and starting instigating our conversation which I then told her I am not arguing with you I am just trying to help you understand but she did not even let me finish my sentence before she started threatening me to get kicked out and then I turned and shook my head and she started asking if I thought she was my mother, mind you I am a grown women with another grown women thinking she can talk to me like that. Ignored her and told her clearly not. At the end of the night I asked her what her name is and she told me Heather and then continued saying she would tell her boss Crystal about this incident. I said okay thank you.
Scent Work trial, great day with wonderful people. So organized, great volunteers, the judges were special, all smiles all day with the best dogs who are winners no matter what happens. Thank you to a community center that is kind enough to share with us.
Love the staff, and all they do with kids. For the first time this year we did Trunk or Treat. It was awesome
Went to play pool, basketball, etc. And at lunch in the unused craft room. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Go there pretty much twice a week. No complaints!
The community center in Meredith has a little something for everyone. Theres a game room with billiard games, basketball courts, function and meeting rooms hosting all kinds of events gatherings and groups, with a large free parking area and a beautiful clean well maintained playground out back that is fenced in. They organize a lot of trips, run a summer camp program, and have lots of things to do for free or little cost. Great to keep the kids busy, even the "big kids^.
