Great place!! Variety of music lessons and classes offered!

I was really looking forward to joining the Singing 101 class, but unfortunately, my experience with them was disappointing. When I went there and paid my fees three days ago, I was informed that I was the only student enrolled but was not told that the class could be canceled due to the minimum requirement of three students. I arrived for the first class today, excited to begin, only to be told that they had a meeting yesterday and decided to postpone the class—yet no one informed me. This lack of communication was very frustrating and unprofessional. While the staff were friendly, that doesn’t make up for the inconvenience of showing up for a class that was never going to happen. I hope the management improves their communication with members and students in the future, ensuring that important updates are shared promptly.

The Upper Valley Music Center has offered the most amazing experience for my son who decided to begin playing the violin when he was 9-years-old. Since that time, we have been on a wonderful Suzuki journey with the most amazing instructors a parent could ever hope to have for their child. My son loves to play the violin and I attribute much of his enthusiasm to his experience at UVMC.

Our student has had a wonderful experience under the new UVMC leadership of Ben and his wife Alicia. They are attentive, thorough, and generous with their time in both private and group lessons. They promote the Suzuki belief that character in a young musician leads to respect and enthusiasm for music. My husband and I would recommend the UVMC to any family who wants to see their child grow under the care and love for music that we see among the staff .

Denice is rude and unprofessional. She loses registrations and scholarship applications (we submitted registration for lessons three times before she accepted it months later!). She does not return phone calls in a timely manner (if at all!). She literally harasses parents who apply for scholarships and makes class-ist remarks to them. Numerous parents have said that Denice has given them a hard time about scholarship applications. She clearly does not understand the economic struggles of our country and the innocent children who want to, and deserve to, take music lessons. Her demeaning behavior does not belong at the Music Center.
