McGivney Community Center runs a summer day camp for Bridgeport children entering grades K-8, meeting Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm with an optional extended-day program until 5:00pm. Campers rotate through arts and crafts, computers, gym, math and science, performing arts, team building and literacy activities, and breakfast and lunch are provided daily. It is a nonprofit center serving the city's children.
