Matt Duffy Baseball Academy is a Weymouth-based instructional baseball program that runs an open-enrollment summer camp at the Quarry Hills baseball fields in Quincy. Campers work on hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching fundamentals with the academy's coaching staff. The camp runs 9am to 2pm, Monday through Thursday, in two separate July weeks (July 7-10 and July 14-17), with drop-off from 8:30am and pickup by 2pm. It is open to boys and girls ages 5 through 12; the academy also fields tryout-based travel teams separately.

Don't bother calling or leaving a message. No one answers and no one calls you back. It's also misleading that Bay State Baseball Academy is listed at the same address and suite # but Bay State books on-line and Matt Duffy doesn't. We walked in for a an email confirmed private lesson (with Bay State) with Matt Duffy saying "you're probably looking for Jay" here's his cell #. I told Matt that I left a message for him on the Matt Duffy line to which he said he doesn't listen to messages and he doesn't book on-line. So I asked how it is you can schedule a session and he responded "good question, but you can't just walk in." I didn't. I had an appointment with someone. I am giving one star instead of zero since he did provide "Jay's" cell number but really this place lacks all common sense and customer service. Oh, and by the way, for those who still believe in a pandemic, none of the 9 people inside were wearing a mask.
