Marinwood Park in San Rafael is a lovely little neighborhood escape! It features clean restrooms, picnic tables for relaxing or group gatherings, and a grassy field perfect for birthday party 🎉 casual sports or play. A small rolling hill adds an extra touch of fun—you’ll see kids delighting in rolling down it and adults enjoying the gentle slope for a scenic mini-hike or playful games. The park’s tree-shaded areas offer cool refuge on warm days, and the layout encourages both active games and quiet family picnics. Well-maintained and welcoming, Marinwood Park is a charming community spot with just the right mix of relaxation and low-key adventure.

Great place to unwind in the middle of the work day if you can. I’ve tried a few pools in the area, including those that are part of a club-this one is salt water and some chlorine but not oppressive. If you’re not a Marinwood resident it’s about $10 a dip-worth it for me if I just want to come once a week. There’s an outdoor shower that’s warm enough.

Great community swimming pool with a grass hill to lay your blanket out to relax while kids enjoy the pool. The slide with 2 different chutes are open most of summer days until closing time. The pool is well observed by a several life guards and they do not close the pool entirely for guard changes. But has seen a practice run of rescuing a drowning swimmer without notifying any guards in 2018 which was a great to witness despite all swimmers had to exit the pool for 10-min.

Just a fun place. Feels really community Clean safe park with a running stream behind it. Great lawn space for playing soccer or catch. Swims for the littles and sandbox for that sensory play. Clean restrooms and oh, and the pool!
