MarineQuest is the marine-science outreach program of UNC Wilmington's Center for Marine Science, offering summer camps for children and teens ages 4-17. Junior, intermediate and senior day programs run alongside one- to three-week residential and commuter camps, combining lab and field research with water sports such as kayaking, snorkeling, boogie boarding, fishing and scuba diving. All campers take part in a coastal community-service project.

★pi piseeThe experience is a gamble entirely based on which counselor your child gets. If you're lucky, they'll end up with someone patient and kind. But if not, brace yourself, some counselors clearly lack the temperament or training to be working with kids. It’s honestly concerning.
