My son attended the 1 week baseball camp & really enjoyed it, raving that it was so fun & even better than the Padres kids camp he attended at Petco Park in San Diego. From the moment you walk in the door until departure, they exude professionalism, warmth, enthusiasm and a proclivity toward skills not found anywhere else in the region. I brought my daughter here after she had a rough first season back from taking time off from sports during the pandemic. Her skills were still there, but her confidence was completely destroyed. Fletcher and his whole crew were excited to see her (having never met her previously), and they made us feel welcome and heard. They talk to parents, and they tell you what they've observed and what you can work on at home or what other techniques can be implemented to make the best improvements possible. They absolutely know what they're doing. My daughter's confidence is now through the roof after only one week at camp, and she's begging for more time there. In addition to teaching the sport itself, they teach sportsmanship, which is incredibly important to us. They demonstrate sportsmanlike conduct in their own actions each day, and with the patience and willingness to teach that they consistently demonstrate to their attendees as well. Guest coaching has also been amazing for her. We can't recommend Coastal enough!
