My granddaughter says “I went here for summer camp and had a blast . The counselors were sooooo nice there was so many cool activities and would definitely recommend going.”

alright, where do we start, I went for a school trip. the cabins where okay, the shower heads had rust and water taste and smelt like rust, but there was warm water. the activitys where over all great, all where entertaining, and counselors where nice. they had a nice lake and campus. now Heres the part that hurts the rating, we stayed for 3 nights, when we got there the food they served was fried rice, it was not good to say the most, and the chicken was so salty there was a few people who could not eat because of health risks, all breakfists where okay, there where hot dogs on day 2 lunch, also way too salty. over all a cool place but food is happyness, and also a shout out to the counselors mark, and carter, they where both super fun.

My son had a fantastic time! He had fun which meant he felt safe and that matters a lot to me. Counselors are amazing, take great care of the kids.

My 15 year old has gone to Kirkwood the last 3 summers, and only regrets we have is that we didn't know about it sooner!! It's his favorite week on his summer break, and he has made friends that I'm sure will last a lifetime! So much to do, gets them away from electronics and devices for a week, and everyone is wonderful to work with from counselors to staff!! I cant recommend it enough ❤️
