MakerState delivers hands-on STEM summer camps in which kids complete about three maker projects a day - STEM arts and crafts, engineering, robotics, coding, machine learning, rocket science, game design, Minecraft and 3D design and printing - plus outdoor and gym play. The standard format is five days a week, roughly 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with single-day and multi-session bookings also offered. MakerState now sells these camps mainly to schools and community programs, including NYC's Summer Rising, priced per child or as a flat fee per group rather than through open parent enrolment, and it also runs teacher training and afterschool makerspace programs.
