Days blend hands-on painting, crafting, storytelling and sensory projects with indoor and outdoor free play, and the studio is built around process-driven art rather than finished products. Facilities include a maker space, ceramics studio and backyard.

My daughter Lilly participated in the sewing and crocheting camp this summer, and hands down, it was her favorite camp out of all the ones she attended. She came home every day excited to show me what she made and couldn't wait to go back the next morning. I’m so grateful to have such a warm, creative, and magical place right here in Oak Park. The owner, Haj, worked with my husband and I to plan a Glow Party that included painting with glow-in-the-dark paint and making glow-in-the-dark slime. The kids, ranging in age from 8-11, were all engaged from start to finish. The two party hosts (included in the price of the party) were fantastic at instructing. The flow of the event was great (when they did the projects, when they ate, when they played outside). There is a great space out back to run around, too!

The staff made us feel at home and were so warm and friendly with kids and parents. They had everything set up when we arrived, even a bracelet making station for the kids to get started on while they waited for everyone to arrive. We had 13 kiddos and they seamlessly walked them through creating their own artwork that they got to take home. We even got to take advantage of a few minutes of outdoor time at the end, perfect for burning off that sugar from cake :) Would highly recommend!!

We've always appreciated the options available and autonomy given to kids during the ASW - They can do the planned activity, get homework done, play games with friends, get time outside, play or read independently, etc. We enjoy that they make friends from other schools, and that even as they've gotten older, they've had opportunities to lead activities. The staff are all fantastic - brilliant, thoughtful, kind, generous - I could go on and on! We consider ourselves so very fortunate to have MM in our lives!
