Our daughter has attended for years, and Meredith, the owner, has been incredible—encouraging her to explore different styles and classes so she could discover what she enjoys most. The teachers are phenomenal (especially Kami in Contemporary /Hip Hop) and while the technical standards are high, they create a supportive, low-pressure environment where kids can truly have fun while learning to dance. The bi-annual recitals at the Rialto Theatre downtown are the cherry on top! Highly recommend!

This studio & the staff is incredible at promoting the joy & art of dance - meeting each student where they are at. The abilities & personalities of the students span the entire spectrum and they are all celebrated and given the space to shine. I can't express what a great space this is for people who want to dance, both experienced & non-experienced, talented & not-so-talented (I even participated in adult classes as one of the not-so-talented & loved it). The spectrum of students is one of the most diverse I have seen in Loveland - one of my favorite parts of this studio. I stumbled on MacKinnon Royal Dance by sheer happenstance & will forever be fortunate for the richness it added to my children's life. It has also been quite amazing to watch the dancers grow & move on . . .some just blow you away.

She has learned and grown so much as a dancer and absolutely loves all the girls, and staff! She can't wait to go and considers this place her 2nd home. Ms Teri has been such an excellent teacher over the years and treats the girls like they were her own! Can't say enough wonderful things about her! Mrs Marina, as well as the rest of the teachers are all amazing as well and teach with a love for dance and support for the girls! You won't find dance drama among the girls or mom's, which is also great! Everyone is supportive of one another.

Before MacKinnon she was involved in a non-studio related dance team, which she loved. Joining MacKinnon has taken her dancing to the next level and she loves it that much more now. From the "mom" perspective, I love that Meredith (the owner) keeps costuming tasteful and modest, which can be a problem with other studios. The costs are in-line with area studios but I feel the value is greater because the class sizes are kept small and each student has the personal attention needed to keep them progressing at a rate that keeps them motivated and challenged.
