Powered by GoogleI had been looking for hip hop classes for my daughter for quite a while. When I came across Lua online, I was a little skeptical because it’s about a 30 minute drive. After coming for the first practice session, my daughter was in love and after this year, she has been able to dance her heart out! We love Lucy, the owner and Alea, the hip hop teacher. They make everyone feel comfortable and the studio has a family feel. My daughter has learned so much in 9 months and is so much more refined in her skill set now. I would recommend the studio to anyone looking hands down!
My 7 year old daughter has been coming to Lua Dance Club Studio for over a year now, and we could not be happier! All the teachers are so welcoming, patient, warm, and make the dance class so much fun for the kids. I highly recommend Lua Dance Club Studio.
We had an incredible experience at Lua Dance Studio! My 6-year-old daughter was interested in aerial silks, which are surprisingly hard to find for kids her age. We live 40 minutes away and have a hectic work schedule, but the owner, Luciana, was so nice and accommodating. Since we couldn't make the younger age slots work, she allowed my daughter to try the 7+ class. I’m so grateful for that trial; it was the perfect way for the studio to see her ability and for us to see if it was the right fit. My daughter was hooked instantly! She learned so many 'tricks' in just one hour. I was amazed to see her up in the air and spinning freely from the silk on her very first day. The instructor paid very close attention to her safety and form the entire time. The tuition is very reasonable, especially for such a unique skill. We are so glad we found Lua—highly recommend!
My daughter has been with Lua Dance studio for almost two years taking ballet and silks. Not only is she learning so much but the atmosphere of the studio is one of love and family. She looks so forward to having time with teachers and other students each week! Highly recommend this studio!! The cost is incredibly reasonable too.
I wanted a place that was fun and unique for my almost three year old daughter, not a place that focused on competition or dressing the girls like adults. Lua Dance Studio is brilliant. For the class of 3 year olds, it’s structured so they change up what they are doing every five minutes with props, costumes and musical instruments. They also get to learn some Portuguese along the way! My daughter asks every day if it’s dance class day, she is so happy there. I can’t recommend it enough for a well rounded experience.
