I was there and saw an incident with a parent and the supervisor Jax. Jax gave attitude and the parent got upset which I understand all she was trying to find out was what stage due to what was overheard some confusion and the parent wanted to clarify. I even saw Jax recording her without telling her. The parent shouldn’t have been treated that way. I am new there but didn’t like what I saw.

Jax Cole who is the main manager of swimming gives horrible customer service gives an attitude when asking a question regarding the stage child is in. I have 3 children all together in swimming classes. My daughter who is in stage 2 the instructor on her last class stated that she is moving up to stage 2 and I got confused because they stated they had her in the system has stage 1 when I went to go ask Jax right away she gave me an attitude and expects me not to get upset with her attitude ? You can't expect to give attitude and horrible customer service she's retaliating because when prior in her emails she's given me attitude and I went above her head to her supervisor. Her job is to be a manager whether you like someone or not I've been coming to swimming classes with YMCA over a year when asking her about what stage did my daughter move up to she says okay it's what they said and what do you want me to do about it ? Even my son heard her say that to me so it's already more than one person who heard her talk to me with attitude. I just find it unprofessional and unethical and horrible customer service don't you want people to continue enrolling into swimming classes?

I am so pleased with my children’s swim lessons with Jocelyn she is truly amazing, she makes me children feel safe, confident and I saw improvement after 1 lesson. Jax the Director of Aquatics is hands on as well and very helpful with assessing kids need to swim.

Before my son started swimming lessons he was so scared of the water. He wouldn't dare to jump in or even ask to go to the pool. Ever since he has been coming he asks everyday if he is going to have swimming lessons. He LOVES to come. Now he can swim to the half way mark of the pool. He has built confidence in the water. He will jump into the water. He can float and he genuinely enjoys coming! The instructors are amazing, patient and caring of the kids. They want the kids to learn. I'm so thankful that they are here!!

This YMCA is wonderful! There is a heavy emphasis on serving the community, and they even offer family nights with rock climbing, archery, a planetarium, and more! Plus swimming lessons and after school child care. I love that the staff LOVE the kids!
