The Little Theatre of Virginia Beach is an all-volunteer community theater six blocks from the oceanfront that produces a five-show season from September through June plus one summer musical. Its own site lists seasons, tickets, auditions, volunteering and a scholarship, but shows no youth summer camp or education program.

★★★★★ikan-ikon MarketingThis little theatre was an incredible experience. The play “Noises Off” was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. The entire audience was laughing hysterically harder and more frequently as the show went on. It had 3 scenes and each is funnier than the last because it is pure chaos. I don’t even know how the actors can pull that much off at one time. I couldn’t even keep up between all that was going on and how hard I was laughing. In addition to how extraordinary the show and each actor did, the people that run the theatre and create the shows and sets were equally as welcoming and kind. I will definitely come back often and I completely understand how every show was sold out very quickly. Parking is tough but I managed to get a spot even though I was one of the last vehicles that arrived on site at around 10 or 5 minutes before the start of the play. Everyone got a spot close to playhouse and the theatre was packed. It’s in a residential neighborhood, which I didn’t know until I was following Google Maps gps. Just keep following the gps and it does take you to the right place.
