Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club in Beach Haven runs active sailing programs for both youth and adults on Little Egg Harbor. Junior sailors learn and compete in the Optimist dinghy and move up to Lasers and Club 420s, while a pre-sailing program introduces 5- to 7-year-olds to the water and a Junior Yacht Club caters to teens. The club is a long-established Long Beach Island institution recognised by the National Sailing Hall of Fame.
