Life Adventure Center runs an outdoor adventure summer day camp for children ages 7-12 on a 575-acre historic farm about 15 miles west of Lexington. Campers take part in horsemanship, climbing, canoeing, archery, mountain biking, high ropes and ziplines, with ponds for swimming and fishing. The nonprofit uses outdoor adventure to build resilience, with drop-off from 8-9 a.m. and pick-up from 5-6 p.m.

Powered by GoogleOur grandson has been here on two occasions. He has really enjoyed the horses, challenge course, and archery. The camp staff is awesome and really interact with the kids.
We've had multiple kids from all backgrounds attend the camp, and it has always been a wonderful experience. Their focus on positive character development, and building confidence is wonderful. The counselors are always kind and great at holding boundaries with kids that may not be used to it. Not an ordinary day-care summer camp, in the best way. The farm is really nice with plenty of amenities and supervision. Definitely worth the 25 minute drive from Fayette county.
Really fantastic job facilitating low ropes and especially high ropes. Facilities were nice and clean and it was great that we had access to the AB during the day for training sessions of our college students. Bunk house was great. The smaller cabins were dirty, but comfortable enough. Food was adequate, but the quality and menu could be expanded. Overall, fantastic experience, staff was wonderful, got to know our names and went the extra mile. Will be back next year. ~ Berea College Campus Christian Center
Great people, amazing location. Haven't been here for any of their events but I hope to in the next future. Their animals all appear extremely well cared for and very happy. The facilities are just amazing.
The mountain biking trails are fantastic. They are called Knucklehead trails. They have trails for all levels of riders. The scenery is great too.
