Powered by GoogleThe employees of this ymca have a major attitude problem. LYNN specifically. She has a smart mouth and zero customer service ability. Very unchristian like behavior for organization of this type. She proceeded to mock and make fun of me and then lie to another employee about our interaction. I have never seen such unprofessionalism so blatantly displayed. You went from 4 stars to 1 star. Would get a zero if it was available. Follow up..AMBER the facility director is just as nasty a person as Lynn. Had an attitude as soon as she started talking to me. Apparently they are all too self righteous and hollier than thou....
Basketball court is open runs maybe 10% of the time, anytime we are playing a 4v4 game some worker comes and tells us to stop playing, regardless whether there is people trying to use the court or not. After years of this, you’d think they can find a solution, but instead they close the whole court to watch 3 year olds run back and forth in straight lines. I will no longer be attending this YMCA as they have ruined many days of joy and happiness and ended it with going home and sitting on a couch instead of getting good cardio and basketball runs in.
From the minute I walked in it was a great experience! Friendly staff were there to greet me and show me around. The building is well-maintained and very clean. The equipment is top notch and there are several options to choose from. Overall, I had a great experience here!
I mainly use the pool to help keep my body feeling fluid by swimming laps. I also love Whit Whitaker's aqua fitness classes. He is an excellent teacher! He is clear, specific and attentive to the class as a whole and individually. I love that the pool room is kept warm in the winter months
I appreciate the variety of classes offered and the quality of the staff. Everyone at the Whitaker Family YMCA is welcoming and friendly, both staff and members, which makes it a great environment.
