Camp KGA (Kids' Great Adventure) is an outdoor summer day camp on 30 acres in eastern Louisville, run by Kentucky Gymnastics Academy for children ages 5-12. Campers choose from more than 15 activities including swimming, canoeing, archery, sports, gymnastics, gardening, animal care and arts and crafts. The camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with daily and weekly enrollment options all summer.

Over the years we’ve done parties at Shoot360, Main Event, Kingpin Lanes, and plenty of other spots, but nothing came close to this experience. Shannon and her team absolutely knocked it out of the park. The kids got to fish, kayak, play on water inflatables, canoe, visit the petting zoo and barn, and even shoot hoops. My child loves to fish, so this was a perfect fit—and I can already see us coming back here for future birthdays. What really set it apart was the staff. At a lot of venues, “staffed” just means someone cleans up afterward. Here, they were hands-on the whole time—helping bait hooks, keeping an eye on the kids, organizing activities, and making sure everything ran smoothly. It made the day stress-free for us and unforgettable for the kids. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Completely amazing experience. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

He was able to fish, kayak, play basketball, hang out with barn animals, and swim in the lake with all of his friends. It was like being at camp for his Birthday party. The staff made the day incredible. John baited probably 50+ hooks and took off 30+ fish from hooks. He really hooked us up! Nikki made sure we had everything we needed and directed traffic. She rocked the mega phone making sure kids stayed safe. Katie was a great help with setting up with decorations and watching the kids. Shannon is a rock star and made his Birthday magical.
