Me and my boyfriend went there to play some games and maybe some basketball. I went up to the staff and asked for a fose ball and the lady asked me if I had a member ship. I told her no and she replied with that I can’t do anything with a rude tone. She was giving us both dirty looks the entire time. They charge 10 dollars for a day pass just to only play for a day even if it’s something like a little game.

It is a great family oriented place. Very clean and friendly staff. Pretty busy on the weekends with games, but there was open swimming and my 7-year-old daughter loved it. None of the awkwardness or uncomfortable feeling of being at a gym.

Went there Tuesday January 13 2026. I ask if we could practice for a basketball, and the staff told me that no! the basketball court was closed every Tuesday and Thursday. (Which prior to that week, we also go there Tuesday to practice for few minutes and this young sweet girl let us! She just told us it only open until 5pm.) So I came back Thursday January 15 and look if basketball court was open and it is. So they kinda not friendly, they just lied to my face. We did borrow a ball and they ask for a collateral! Which we’ve been borrowing a ball everytime we go there without asking any collateral. So is the rules change? That’s my first time to hear it or the staff was just not friendly? Sometimes it’s a disappointment that you are paying for the place, but most of time you can’t use. Even the swimming pool.

Would recommend for school dances!! Ryan Schultz and team were very easy to work and plan with! We loved that we were able to close off the basketball courts we did not want to use, to keep our students in the area we did want them to be. Our event was 407 attendees, using only 2 basketball courts - we used 24 round table for seating and a large dance floor and everyone had plenty of room! When in a pinch and we needed more chairs they were readily available for us to grab and set out as needed. Great location for events, don't overlook your local Bellevue Leid Center!!

I like the Lied Activity Center as an event rental facility. Ryan, the event coordinator, is awesome to work with. He has always been available to answer any questions that I've had and the staff is very accommodating on the day of the event. This was our 2nd year doing an event there and I appreciate how they treat us. The facility has a ton of room for many different types of occasions. It's very clean and well taken care of. The parking lot has plenty of spaces for guests. As a community center I haven't used it, but I do remember last year how they opened the facility to the community of Bellevue for showers and electricity after 2 tornadoes touched down. That says it all right there. A great place established to be of service and bring the community together.
