Lavner Camps runs Camp Tech Revolution, a STEM and technology day camp held on the NYU campus at the Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South in Greenwich Village. Campers ages 6 to 14 pick one specialty each week from more than 50 courses spanning coding, robotics, game design, Minecraft, Roblox, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, content creation and STEM & medicine. Camp runs weekly from June 22 to August 21, Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with paid early arrival from 8:00 am, extended day to 5:45 pm, optional private lessons and an optional catered lunch; campers may enroll for one or more weeks. Lavner operates tech camps at university campuses in several states.

★Irina LaylievSTAY AWAY!!! My son did STEM and medicine camp at Adelphi and it was a total scam!!! They packed over 40 children into a small room and kept them there all day. Class was not lead by an experienced teacher instead was lead by two 19 year olds. When my son asked why they can’t go outside for recess he was told to go on his phone. There’s no communication from the program director Gabrielle Saugar even after I emailed her. They did not do any of the program description like virtual surgery. It was supposed to be 11-14 year olds only but the room had small children doing a space program so 2 programs were being run at the same time in a small room. LAVNER YOU ARE A TOTAL SCAM and I will report this to BBB.
★★★★★Sophia TsaoMy daughter attended the Robotics with LEGO Robots - Engineering & Coding class (NYU) and loved it. Although the check-in and pick-up lines were a bit long, it was very thorough and quick considering all ID's needed to be checked which I appreciate due to abundance of safety for the kids. I especially appreciate the directors and instructors who were all very friendly and responsive. When I asked for some photos of my daughter's robot they were very willing to send me the pictures and videos. No real reports about the student activities were given; however, my daughter said she had a blast and wants to attend again next summer.
★Jayne NMy son attended the Pace Univ location and it was not a good experience. The instructors are undergrad college students who aren’t qualified to teach. The kids hang out for an hour at lunch outside in the heat with nothing to do except play on their phones. The daily check-in and check-out process is a zoo and the cost for all of this is exorbitant compared to other day camps. Your child could get more out of watching instructional YouTube videos than coming to this camp. Save your money!!

Our finicky son was pleased with the lunch offerings. He's excited to wake up each morning to meet with new friends in his group. So far it's a 5 star.
★★Lenina NadalI wish I had read these reviews. I was seduced by the branding and the idea of my daughter spending time at NYU. She was in the YouTube camp and it was promised that they would get to use the green screen for their projects and while they were showed the screen they never used it, the teachers said it would be too difficult to set it up. My daughter had experience editing video and so was able to do the assignment of making two 3 min videos, which was the only activity from 9 to 3 for four days, with no direction, no templates, no new skills. Recess was just hanging out. She shared a class with the minecraft and roblox students and was jealous that they got to play games. She showed me her video, which would have been decent if someone had her record herself in a quieter place. The classroom was so loud I am not sure how she was able to concentrate. I gave it 2 stars because my daughter did have fun spending time making a video and a new friend. All said though, agree that it is very overpriced for having unprepared instructors that didnt seem to care much about their students' learning new skills.
