Las Palmas Community Center is a City of McAllen Parks & Recreation facility running youth summer camps for ages 3-12 with themes such as art, sports and dance, in sessions from June through early August. Additional youth programs include volleyball skills, ballet, beginner folklorico and youth crochet. It is a fully air-conditioned municipal community center.
