Regarding U17 coach: Concerns regarding recent training techniques and sportsmanship. serious concerns regarding the specific tactics being taught at recent practices, as well as the game-day conduct we’ve observed. the team is being taught to slide tackle from behind. As you know, tackling from behind is an automatic foul and incredibly dangerous. At this age, teaching a technique with such a high risk of injury is a major safety concern for both our players and their opponents. , I am uncomfortable with the instruction to hold opposing players when the referee isn't looking. Teaching the kids to intentionally break the rules and evade officiating goes against the core values of youth sports and good sportsmanship. This is compounded when the referees do make a call, and the coaching staff responds by yelling at them. priority is that the kids learn the game safely, respect the officials, and play with integrity. I want to ensure that moving forward, the focus will return to clean, fundamental soccer skills and positive sportsmanship.

It is abundantly clear that the executive director has no genuine interest in the players' well-being; his primary focus seems to be advancing his own reputation at their expense. The boys' program is particularly poorly run. Coaches are given no say regarding team formation, resulting in players being wildly misplaced. This creates a deeply frustrating environment for everyone involved—the parents who are paying premium fees for their children to participate and especially the players who want to compete and continue to improve their skills. Furthermore, the behavior of the board is highly concerning. One board member regularly berates players, telling them to 'stop embarrassing themselves,' ironically while his own child is ejected from games for swearing at officials. The mass exodus of players this season should serve as a glaring wake-up call for the organization, but sadly, it seems unlikely that the necessary changes will be made...
