The Stars Clubhouse is the indoor training facility of Lake County Stars, a parent-founded travel baseball club in Lake Zurich, sited on Enterprise Parkway near the club's outdoor home fields. Formed in 2008, the club fields 18 youth teams (8U-14U) and five high school teams (15U-18U) with more than 275 players, and places players through tryouts for the following summer season rather than open enrollment. The clubhouse is used for club training and is bookable through the club's reservation system.

Stars is our 2nd travel experience (SP '26) and looking even more forward to Spring '27!! Training began in Feb and we will play well into July. 3 practices per week thru the winter at their own facility AND during game season. The coaches here know your kids, know what their greatest challenges are and focus on those areas during all interactions. They are real and tell it like it is. They are approachable and have answered every question asked. They return calls and emails and they treat your kid the same whether he’s an ace or the 12th man on the roster. We had a blast with the parents and the kids really made friends quickly and formed a tight supportive group. This is truly a baseball family! You will be welcomed here.

The way your 11U staff represented your organization tonight in Lake Villa was beyond embarrassing. Our family and others had the opportunity to join the Stars, but ultimately we decided to stay in Lake Villa and I’m glad we did. Your coaching staff tonight should be ashamed of themselves. If I was a parent on your 11U team I would have the same words. I also spoke with a parent from your team and they had no words to describe the childish and immature behavior displayed by your staff. Do better for the kids, teach sportsmanship, and be kind. This isn’t coming from a parent. Your coach said, “I don’t talk to parents and there’s a reason you’re on the other side of the fence.” This review is coming from another coach. *** In reference to your response, our coach admitted to your coach he made a mistake. He asked to finish the game to develop the players but your coaches refused. This post was in direct reference to how your coaches handled the “one pitch mistake”. They took bats out of your kids hands, berated parents, and were immature. Again, do better for the kids.***

We joined the Star's family last year & have been impressed with the facilities and organization. Appreciate the work the ORG does to manage large tryouts in a way that allows players a chance to showcase their full skillset. Other ORGS that have this much demand for roster spots, often end up giving 5 pitches or 5 swings of the bat to determine making a roster. Impressed with how much data and drills they are able to pull together to make their decisions. With so much demand have been consistently impressed with how quickly Cynthia is able to get back with decisions from the Coaches. Good luck to all the teams this next calendar year!

We joined stars family few years back and we couldn’t be happier with the way the program runs. They have best coaches and well thought out plan for players development.

We had a great season with the Stars organization. Cynthia and the organization was more than helpful when we needed help and came through amazingly for our family and our player!! We loved having access to the field house whenever we wanted and will miss that this season. Our son was offered a spot on a Stars team and was also offered a spot on our local travel team. He decided he wanted to play on our local team the last year he can play for it. We were saddened when we had to tell them we were leaving the stars family for the upcoming season. We hope that we can get another opportunity to play with them. Cynthia was always great at communication when other lake county travel teams were not. We would recommend anyone tryout for them as they do try and make it a great experience.
