Belvidere Youth Baseball is an independent nonprofit founded in 1958 that provides baseball and softball to youth ages 4-14 in Boone County, Illinois, playing at the Ross-Fish Youth Sports Complex on Fairgrounds Road. It runs a spring recreational league along with the Diamond Classic tournament and fall softball. This is a seasonal league with scheduled practices and games rather than a summer camp.

★★★★★MindyBring camping/lawn chairs if you’d like to avoid the metal bleachers. Parking is plentiful, but shaded areas limited (throwing that in there for my freckled, fair-skinned brethren).
★LynCulver's field not accessible for disabled/handicapped people. The BYB says "it is wheelchair accessible" Which is not totally true! They "claim" that there are sidewalks or the access road that You can get a wheelchair to every field. Again, not found to be true. That access road is so holy & there is no sidewalk I have seen to access Culver's field in the middle! They even took down the Handicapped parking signs that were posted last year which were right by the fields! I understand that they are concerned about some people who drive thru there with no regard for the slow speed limits posted. But it is unfair to people who are handicapped not to be allowed to drive their handicapped license plated vehicles in and see their child or Grandchild play!! I don't see why someone from the BYB board can't have someone man the back entrance gate, allowing them entry & then closing it again? I feel this is DISCRIMINATION against Disabled/Handicapped person!!!!! They need to have some empathy and understanding for these parents, Have a HEART ❤️ How would You like it if it was one of their own family????
