Powered by GoogleIt feels like an abandoned old school that the ymca just kinda (does) squats in. But the staff is nice and most people are friendly. Has a good pickleball crowd in the mornings. A bit rundown but better than no ymca. It would be awesome to get some new amenities or at the very least another butterfly press machine as that is always taken in the weight room
Handed MY MANS PHONE TO THEM AND THEY STILL HAVENT GOTTEN IT TO HIM. I AM LITERALLY PREGNANT WITH HIS KID. AND I CANT GET AHOLD OF HIM NOW. CAUSE OF THIS. ITS BS
The staff lady was super nice and welcoming. She's wonderful! But the YMCA itself? This place is just sad and depressing...With the money they charge for memberships and programs and donations - you'd think the Y could afford modern buildings and everything. But this is just remodeled from an old elementary school with zero modern updates at all. Everything is old and outdated. The weight rooms are just old class rooms and stuff. It's a very creepy and weird experience honestly. Even the urinals in the men's room are still the children ones. So a grown man using those is seriously having you feel like Adam Sandler on the movie Billy Madison if you know what I'm saying lol. But yeah this is sad. No way I would pay membership for this Y location when there's real gyms around the area.
Tried it but didn’t work for us being closed on Sunday and quite expensive for 2 seniors. Not super clean or well staffed. Should be monitoring rooms every once in a while. Lots of unsupervised teens in weight room.
My 4yo and I are very active and travel a lot so we maintain a national Y membership that has been well utilized in many states. We visited the MC area from nyc off season and found the weather to be quite temperamental leaving us stir crazy in the rental we were in. We went to the local YMCA to find anything to do rather than watch Netflix all day and were greeted with absolute warmth and accommodation. Kim (director) is an absolute delight. Just sunshine on a cloudy day! Within the first 10 minutes we walked about the facility and were offered several activities for my daughter to interact with peers. No matter what time we visited there was something for her to do. The heated pool was our fave. It was exactly what we didn’t know we needed and more than we could’ve asked for. This locale is a gem. See you again this summer, Kim!
