KidzConnect Summer Day Camp

Ever since Maria Cheung stepped down as the director of the summer program it haven't been the same. My cousins and I used to go here as kids but as the year went by the quality dropped. I thought bringing my kids here would be a good summer program but, unfortunately the quality dropped since then. The activities and club hours isn't the same anymore nor were the fun trips that they once had plus with snack time from what my kids had informed me.

Summer Camp at First Baptist Church of Flushing is part of our history as family. Being a single mom, this place offers the best rates, Christian guide and foundation and payment plans. My son has been attending Summer Camp at FBCF since he was 6 and now that he is a teenager he is volunteering!! 100% recommended! You wont regret!

Oh my word my kids have attended Kidz Connect Summer Day for several years and they’ve had the best of times. Their teachers prepared them well for their upcoming classes for their grades. The staff there are awesome because they practice what they preach when they said that caring for their campers are of the utmost importance. The best and we love it. 🥰

As a kid, my parents would send my siblings and I to this Summer Day Camp. I attended this camp for six consecutive summers. At first, I was shy like most kids and did not want to talk to anyone I did not know. On the second day at this camp, the teachers somehow made me want to engage in all the activities that were happening in and out of the classroom. The next thing I knew, Summer Day Camp was over. From the day it ended, all I could think about was going back the following summer. It has been about seven years since I was a camper in Summer Day Camp, and to this day, I still talk to and hang out with the friends I have made in camp. I have also been very involved with the camp since I have graduated from it. KidzConnect Summer Day Camp is a great place for kids to go learn academically, have fun, and grow. The staff is great. When I was a camper I remember how the teachers were able to teach the lessons and still be able to relate to the campers. I always had a great time at Summer Day Camp.

As a student that transitioned into working at this camp (for the past 5 years) and I can say that the family of staff are extremely caring of one another. Children come into the camp excited every day with some saying that they don't want to go home at the end of the day! Children at the camp grow also intellectually, academically, and spiritually in the church setting everyday as they go through worship and academics in the morning, along with more academics and free time in the afternoon. Overall I recommend KidzConnect for parents who are looking to find a place for their child to make some new friends as well as people who are looking to find opportunities in working closely with kids.
