The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill is a nonprofit working farm on 35 acres of town land in Bedford that has run summer camps for kids since 2005. Campers do daily farm chores such as collecting eggs and cleaning animal paddocks, take nature walks in the forest and do hands-on agriculture learning; half-day campers head home midday while full-day campers stay for lunch and additional activities.

Stunning sport fields!

Nice quiet spot to do a little stargazing. The lights from cars going by are annoying but less frequent later in the evening. The town maintains a porta potty there which is nice to have access to.

Hugh expanse of fields and plenty of fairly flat, straight road to run, shuffle, or walk.

This field has the most thick, beautiful weed-free grass I've ever seen! While the grass is fantastic, it's not great for playing games like lacrosse because it's thick and long. The lack of any growth aside from turf grass makes me wonder if herbicides are in use.

Fields are used by local rec and school sports teams. There's grass on the fields, decent parking, and if you time it right can stay in yor car and watch your loved ones play on the fields below. There are no bleachers or seating of any kind so either you bring a chair or you sir in your car.
