4-H Camp Leslie is a residential and day camp for youth ages 7-14 in Georgetown, established in 1939. Campers take Red Cross swim lessons and boating instruction (canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddleboats), plus a challenge program with sports, a ropes course, and archery, drama and dance, arts and crafts, and an outdoor living-skills program. Nonprofit 4-H camp.

I used to attend a day-camp through the YMCA (and I think it was Camp Leslie). Anyway, I’m going in the “way-back machine Sherman” (if anybody out there remembers that cartoon from the 1960’s, lol!). I know it was a long time ago, but I have very fond memories of going to this camp - I absolutely loved it!!! Of course, I can’t speak for the current state of this camp, but if it has remained as wonderful as I remember it to be, don’t hesitate to having your children attend this wonderful camp!
