Powered by GoogleBest Dry Sauna in any Y I've been to, and I travel the country a lot. I bring my own thermometer and most Y saunas are only between 135-160°, even though studies show the prime zone is around 175-190° for 20 min. This sauna was right in that zone at over 180°! 🤩 I wish I wasn't just passing through and that this was my home Y.
Thank you, Johnstown YMCA, for providing a variety of fitness class options for older adults! As a new member I feel welcome to the facility and receive so much encouragement by other members and instructors. It is amazing to attend a fitness class with people of all ages, physical levels, and injury recovery who take the time to strengthen and move their body as a priority. I'm grateful for each fitness instructor who also gives of their time to teach and guide us! The Johnstown YMCA is clean, convenient to use, and actively works to keep members informed. The Johnstown YMCA is life-giving as an opportunity to support my physical health.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love the Johnstown YMCA. It has been such a gift for our family. Our son loves coming here, especially for the swimming pool. It’s become his favorite activity, and we feel so comfortable and safe letting him enjoy the water here. The pool is clean, warm, well-maintained, and the staff is always attentive and kind, which means everything as a parent. He also attended Pre-K at the Johnstown YMCA, and during that time he received swim lessons right there, which was such a convenient and valuable part of his early education. The instructors were patient, encouraging, and truly invested in helping kids build confidence, not just in the water, but in themselves. We saw so much growth in him both socially and physically during his time there. What really stands out about the Johnstown YMCA is the community feel. It’s not just a gym or a childcare center- it’s a place where families are supported, kids are known by name, and you feel welcomed every time you walk in the door. The front desk staff, teachers, and lifeguards consistently go above and beyond. As a Northern Colorado real estate agent, I talk to a lot of families who are moving into the area and looking for great schools, activities, and community resources. The Johnstown YMCA is always one of the first places I recommend. It truly reflects the kind of family-friendly, high-quality community people are hoping to find when they move here. We’re so grateful for the experiences our son has had here and for the role the YMCA has played in our family’s life. Highly recommend to anyone with kids, or anyone looking for a supportive and welcoming place to be part of the Johnstown community.
We absolutely love the Johnstown YMCA! It’s such a welcoming, family-friendly place with something for everyone. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. My family enjoys everything from the pool and fitness classes to the fun kids’ activities! As a local real estate agent in Northern Colorado, I’m always sharing how wonderful our community is, and the YMCA is a big reason why families love living here. It’s more than just a gym - it’s a place where people connect, stay active, and feel at home. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re new to the area or looking for a great place to belong! 💛💪
We love YMCA!♡ I took my family there this afternoon it's been since last year that we have gone and we signed them up for five month's of membership. She remembered me from last year! She had our cards ready and kid's name's written down when we arrived! Staff is very friendly and respectful. They really care about your kid's safety. For instance when our kid's would lose their beach ball they we're playing and it would land in the adult swim section, they immediately would grab it to make sure they wouldn't drown trying to get it themselves. We haven't had a bad experience, for the two year's we've been bringing our family here. They pass by you and smile, and say hi. And are very helpful when asking for anything and never seem annoyed. The front desk ladies and lifeguards deserve some credit for how well they are treating others. Appreciate you guy's! -Caudill Family
