membership revoked with no explanation and head of ymca had no clue about the situation when the front desk lady told me i need to schedule a meeting with her

Having a ymca in a small town is a blessing in itself. My family and I use the outdoor and indoor pool the most. Everyone is so friendly and communicative, I’ve only ever had problems with the pool schedule on the website. The only things that need attention are: the water over flow around the indoor pool needs a good cleaning as well as the tiles in the hot tub. I know you all are short staffed so I will not be docking stars Becasue every staff member I have encountered has been helpful and always makes us feel welcomed. Thank you everyone !

Nice facility, decent people. I primarily use it for lifting. If your going to use the gym after hours, I would recommend bringing some earbuds, if not you'll probably be listening to rap/hiphop from someone else's phone. Personally, I find that really irritating so Ill probably just use the gym at work on days I get out of work late. Aside from that, good gym, nice people, I recommend it.

I have loved being able to use my Y membership to get a lift in when visiting my grandparents throughout the years. We participated in the turkey trots every thanksgiving growing up and I have memories of waking up early to do water aerobics with my grandma during my summer vacation stays with her and her girlfriends. My grandma passed back in 2021 leaving my grandpa by himself and our family devastated (both for our loss and him being alone). I have been apart of the Y my entire life (both as a member and on staff) and encouraged him to start slowly becoming active at the Y when she passed. It took a while, but he now has a laundry list of classes he takes as part of his weekly routine, has made countless friends that he gets to see everyday, and just recently joined the board. Today, I attended water aerobics & yoga with him and he was beaming introducing me to both members and staff. I chatted with many staff members who said how they enjoy seeing him everyday and I cried on my drive back home later that day because I worry about him being alone. Thank you all for adding a little joy back to my grandpas life. Please let the front desk staff, 915a water aerobics, & 1015a yoga instructors know how thankful I am for such lovely people who add a little sunshine to his life ☀️ (if the date doesnt show, this was 3/4/24)

This is a decent YMCA for a small town like Franklin. There are far less amenities than you would find at a bigger gym, but that is to be expected. The workers are all pleasant, and are very personable. For the time being, it’ll satisfy my needs until I move on from my hometown.
