Interlochen Center For The Arts: High School Pines
Private
Interlochen Arts Camp's High School division is an overnight arts camp for students in grades 9-12, with intensive study in music, theatre, dance, visual arts, film and new media, creative writing and interdisciplinary arts. Programs run six weeks, three weeks, or as one-week Intensives, and admission to high school programs requires an audition. Students live in rustic, unheated cabins shared with 10-16 other high school artists and one or two counselors on a 1,200-acre campus set between two lakes in northern Michigan, with a private beach, tennis courts, practice cabins and recreational fields. Pines refers to one side of the camp campus rather than a separate camp.
