Hot Shots is a weekly Sunday soccer-skills class program in Marshfield rather than a summer camp: families buy a 10-class session and 100% parent participation is required at every class. Classes use puppets, parachutes, dance ribbons and silly games to introduce soccer skills in a deliberately non-competitive setting where no child is grouped or ranked by ability, and each class opens and closes with a group song and camper introductions. The $195 fee covers the 10 classes, a t-shirt and a medal, and children take home a bag of five books each week through the program's "Reading Is A Kick" reading initiative. Founded in 1996 for girls and open to boys ages 2-7 since 2024, it serves families from across the South Shore.
