Horizon Theatre Company, Atlanta's contemporary theatre in Inman Park at 1083 Austin Avenue, runs youth classes and camps in partnership with the Atlanta Children's Theatre Company. Its Camp StarDust is a summer theatre camp for students entering 1st through 6th grade, combining music, drama, choreography and props classes and ending in a Friday performance for family and friends. Camp days run 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and tuition is about $365; campers bring their own lunch and snack.

★★★★Ramona FairI love this theater company for various reasons which I'll mention a few here. The Adlers who are the executives, the cost, the content and performance of each play, its quaint and coziness and the area (Little 5 Points). Lay play seen was Too Fast Too Festivus. This production will run through December 31. I enjoy talkbacks and the ability to meet the actor(tress) and take photos with them on set. I see only two drawer backs, seating is tight, no arm rest with just enough leg room. Be careful, you can easily lose your balance and the parking lot. It is a broken up gravel and no white lines for parking unless in the front which has approximately 10 spaces. You'll have to walk around to reach the side door; entry point. Please do not let this hinder your attendance. This place is a gem.
★★★★★David CrossThe Horizon has entertained, educated and enthralled audiences for 40 years. It's an intimate venue, which as my daughter reminds me when we're running late, does not have a bad seat! This weekend I took her to see their production of Heart Sellers. It thoughtfully tells the story of two immigrant women, and all they lost through sacrifice but gained through friendship. We laughed, cried, and came away changed. As a good community theater should, Horizon brings us together and makes us better. If that's not enough for you, they always have incredible cookies at intermission...

I am often accompanied by either my husband or a group of girlfriends, and none of us have ever had a bad time. I think back to all the shows we've seen, and how wonderfully intimate the space is for every performance. It just drags one right into the story. I often find myself so engaged that I'm sitting on the edge of my seat! Thank you for being the beautiful, magical little light that you are, Horizon!

★★★★★Peggy ForsterI've been to two shows at this Theater, and both were excellent. I really enjoyed the musicians and this talented Theatrical Companies performances. The two shows that I saw were, Amelie, and the Great Comet of 1812, which is coming back to the theater next year. Very comfortable, elevated seating for excellent view. I highly recommend both shows and the Horizon Theatre Company.
