The Hoover Recreation Center runs a municipal summer day camp for children ages 6-12, operating 9:00am–4:00pm weekly from June through early August. Days center on sports fundamentals, recreational games, art activities and the splash pad, with themed weeks such as All Sports, Olympic Sports and World Sports camps. Camp is open to Hoover residents with a membership.
