Greystone YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater Birmingham, offers a summer day camp. Days rotate between outdoor time and indoor activities including STEM, KidzLit and KidzMath, sports, crafts, swimming and field trips. Camp drop-off is as early as 7:00am with pickup as late as 6:00pm.

★Susan WilliamsThe YMCA should not be open on Thanksgiving Day even for a few hours. I love exercising at the YMCA but Thanksgiving is holiday that should be observed with family like Christmas holiday.

The aquatics dept has something for literally everyone. Last, I have to mention the view..the open sky is spectacular. They do put a bubble over the pool when the weather cools off so we can still keep swimming all year round. Well worth trekking 280 for!!
