HATTheatre is a 66-seat black box theater in Richmond's West End, founded in 1993, whose founding artistic director has run youth theater camps there for about 30 years. Camps put kids on a professional stage with no auditions required, covering material from Broadway musicals to science fiction, horror and fantasy, and focusing on acting experience, poise and public speaking. Sessions are short, so many students sign up for more than one.
