Hale (Hale Education / Hale Reservation) is a nonprofit that runs day camps on 1,250 acres of woods, trails, and ponds in Westwood and Dover. Its signature traditional day camp starts at age 4 with swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts, and field games, plus an Adventure Camp with hiking and mountain-biking tracks. Over 1,000 campers attend each year, with bus service from many Greater Boston towns.

★★★★Jay SenkevichIt is a beautiful piece of land very close to Route 128. My family and I went for a ~10 mile hike this Autumn. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that there are too many trails and therefore you need a map. There are also a lot of buildings on the land as well. We donated a couple of dollars. I don't know the cost when the facility is open or it is summer.
