Powered by GoogleI enrolled my 3-year-old daughter in a gymnastics class at this facility after previously participating in one of their parent-and-child classes. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, my daughter was initially placed with a coach and a group of children who appeared to be similar in age and skill level. Shortly afterward, a staff member named Eric moved her into a different group. The new class appeared to have much less structure, with children mostly running around and engaging in free play rather than receiving instruction, demonstrations, or opportunities to practice gymnastics skills. Because my daughter has participated in gymnastics classes elsewhere over the past year, I politely asked if she could be moved back to the original group. What should have been a simple conversation about my daughter's class placement turned into one of the most uncomfortable customer service experiences I've had. When I expressed my concerns, Eric became defensive instead of addressing them professionally. During the conversation, he repeatedly put his hands on my shoulder while speaking to me. The physical contact was unwanted and inappropriate, and it made me so uncomfortable that I asked my husband to stand beside me for the remainder of the discussion. I was also frustrated that a simple request to move my daughter back to the original group was treated as if it were unreasonable. Rather than discussing the request professionally, Eric brought over another child to demonstrate skills he claimed my daughter could not do. This felt dismissive, unnecessary, and completely unrelated to my reasonable request to have her placed in a more structured class environment. At that point, I had already paid for the class but decided we would not be returning. I was looking for a gymnastics program that would provide instruction, skill development, and respectful communication with parents. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, belittled, and uncomfortable with the way the situation was handled. Parents should be able to ask questions about their child's placement without being treated as a problem or subjected to unwanted physical contact. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this facility, and we will not be returning.
My child loves going here. She loves her instructor so much!
My daughters love this place… they have fun but at the same time are learning ….
My daughter has been going here for 5+ years. Nothing less than professionalism from the owner to the staff. The values my daughter has learned from Gymtek have stretched well past the teachings of gymnastics. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend gymtek to everyone that wants there child to be in a fun and safe environment.
My daughter’s both of my daughters go to Gymtek and they are very accommodating during the day that they can’t attend. They move them quickly to a different class. The price is standard and the price each month doesn’t go up too much to drastically over the last two years. Both of my daughters have improved very much and they when they started compared to now they are very strong in their abilities to complete all the tasks and activities that the instructors give them
