Gymkhana has been a fixture in the local area for competitive and recreational gymnastics for decades. They have hall of fame coaches who bring out the best in talented gymnasts of all ages. The cherry on top is that the coaches truly care about the progression and healthy development of the gymnasts. They push the kids to improve, but keep gymnastics fun and enjoyable.

Rude, unprofessional staff. There was a mistake from the park district's end about the days my daughter's classes were supposed to be; we were told by an instructor to forward our receipt to Gymkhana's email so that they can also see the issue and bring it up to the park district (to which we were going to do as well) - but the email we got in response to something their own staff told us to do was essentially patron-blaming, and rude. When brought up to the owner of Gymkhana, his response was that the person who replied to the email was essentially frustrated with the park district; and while that may be the case, that does not mean take your frustration out to a patron who, again, was only doing what was told to do. We were also not looking for any makeups whatsoever, my kids are enrolled in extracurriculars and I know sometimes they can't make up for what's lost - it was only said that we weren't there for the first week and thus never even knew that this was an issue to begin with.

The environment here inside the building is hot and there is no air purification. As a mother, I sit in the waiting area for an hour. I understand very well that the air is not exchanged. I told the manager here twice that the lower part, where the beginners are, is hot. And it does not have air purification
