Gurnee Youth Baseball is a volunteer-run youth baseball league in Gurnee for boys and girls, organized by age division: Shetland (6-7), Pinto (8), Mustang (9-10), Bronco (11-12) and Pony (13-14). It runs season-long instructional and competitive play rather than a summer camp - spring practices begin in April with games from May to just before July 4, and a fall instructional league runs from late August into October playoffs, played mainly on weekends. A Learn to Play program for Shetland-age beginners was added in 2026, and the league maintains its own fields, concessions and a lightning-detection safety system.

★★★★★Tom BergeThe location is fantastic, with 7 well maintained baseball fields full of excitement. My son has had four head coaches so far and all were good, fair people. I'm especially appreciative of this league this Fall during COVID, the kids are all getting much exercise and fun.
★Joel LuxGYB is very misleading and disrespectful. Constantly making the games about the coaches and not about the kids having fun. Coaches are constantly yelling at the kids and disrespecting kids. When brought to the attention of the board they do absolutely NOTHING about the situation simply because of favoritism. They let coaches get away with too many things when this is supposed to be a kids environment which allows them to have fun and make friends.

And If you want to hear coaches screaming at kids and other coaches the entire game this will be a perfect place to sign your kids up at :)
