The Greg Grant Sportsplex in Shelby Township is a 100,000-plus-square-foot indoor and outdoor sports facility with six basketball courts, eight indoor and seven outdoor sand volleyball courts, a 54,000-square-foot turf field for soccer, lacrosse and flag football, batting cages, a training center and a weight room. It runs youth sport programs, AAU basketball club teams, training, clinics and tournaments, and hosts week-long PGC basketball camps that run 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Point Guard Prep for incoming 4th-8th graders and Playmaker College for incoming 7th-11th graders.

★★★★★Anthony BellomoThey have some really great sand volleyball courts and the end of the Greg Grant Sportplex. It is honestly a hidden gem for people looking for activities to do. They also have a bar, bathrooms, and a giant disco ball. They played music throughout the volleyball games with gave a fun an energetic vibe. Plenty of parking here. Would definitely come back!

★That Girl ChrissyTVThe facility is nice. I haven’t had any issues for the most part coming here with my friends to play basketball. What I don’t understand is the floors being dusty and not polished. This gym makes more than enough money to polish the basketball courts it least once a year. They make what it cost to polish the courts in just one weekend. I am surprised this owner or whoever doesn’t take pride in the courts. It’s a safety issue playing on dusty and slippery courts. Taking the dust broom isn’t enough for the paying customers who come to have a good time playing basketball. I would’ve given this gym a 5 star rating if the owner would invest some of the money from loyal paying customers to polish the courts. It would be greatly appreciated. Many people come once and don’t come back due to the courts. This place would actually make 3x more money if the courts were nice but unfortunately they aren’t.

I’m not the problem and you don’t know if I do or don’t walk on the courts. Once a day clearly is not sufficient. Be better. Take some pride. Take accountability and stop blaming your paying customers. Dusty courts are so bad it’s dangerous and makes the basketball awful. They should be embarrassed. The facility is way too nice to have this nonsense on their floors. Take some pride and get this right.
★★★Lorenzo ChildsPlace was nice, staff was friendly, courts were good, it just was very slippery. All the courts had traction problems and people were complaining, they never swept between blocks even when they said they would. It’s dangerous to play like that because once someone gets injured they can sue.
