Greater Wildwood Yacht Club sponsors a youth summer sailing program in the back bays of the Wildwoods, teaching children aged 7 and up to sail alongside life skills such as teamwork and responsibility. Instruction is delivered by Level 1 certified instructors, and the club's mission is to promote sailing and sailboat racing. It also hosts youth regattas, including a Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association youth regatta.
