Ocean City Yacht Club runs an eight-week junior sailing program on the bay from 20 June to 12 August, five days a week, taught by fully accredited US Sailing instructors and including intraclub competition against other area yacht clubs. The all-day program runs 9:00am-3:00pm for sailors aged 8 and up and costs $1,700, with racing classes at $850 ($500 for 420s); the Minnows program is a five-day introduction to sailing, the club and the sea for 5- to 7-year-olds, running 9:00am to noon in two July and August sessions. Junior sailors must hold a family or junior club membership, but the OCYC Foundation offers scholarships of up to $1,000 a year for those aged 5-18 covering membership, lessons and equipment.

★★★★★Lynn LibmanWe sat outside while a boat race was on. It was beautiful to watch. The sun going down was pretty fierce for a bit but then it was lovely. Our server was young and charming. The swordfish was as good as any I've ever had. Caesar salad was included and nicely done. A friend had the halibut and it was simply gorgeous. I was very impressed with the quality of the provisions and the skill of the chef. Highly recommend!
